Human Resources and Education Department

The Department’s mission is to support and develop CySEC’s human capital. It is responsible for managing and coordinating all matters related to CySEC’s personnel, from recruitment and performance evaluation to training and professional development, ensuring compliance with the organisation’s policies and procedures. The Department’s operations are structured around two main pillars: the first focuses on human resources development and education, while the second provides organisational support on human resources administrative matters.

In general, the Department is responsible for a broad range of functions, including ensuring that CySEC’s human resources framework remains effective and aligned with its operational goals, evaluating CySEC’s human capital needs, designing and updating the organisational structure, managing recruitment and promotion processes, forecasting new positions within the annual budget, coordinating secondment procedures, issuing HR-related circulars, and monitoring the performance management process. Furthermore, the Department is committed to cultivating a culture of continuous learning, offering seminars and tailored training programmes that nurture the skills, confidence, and potential of our employees.
