| For a third consecutive year, on 23 April 2015 a group of volunteers from the CySEC personnel, enthusiastically participated in the Pancyprian cleaning campaign «Let’s Do It Cyprus»; part of the global campaign cleaning «Let’s do it World!» In Cyprus the campaign aims to clean the garbage from nature areas within a day, with the help of volunteers. CySEC’s team of volunteers contributed to the cleaning of the area at Pediaios river, Strovolos, near the post office on Prodromou Avenue, which was the starting point for the CySEC team. The target is to bring awareness to the importance of the preservation of our environment and that it is every person’s responsibility to keep our island clean. This is the massage; that it is our collective responsibility to protect our natural environment not only because of personal benefits, enjoyment and health but also for ensuring a healthier and higher quality of living for our children in the future to come.
