Presentation for the Sustainability Reporting
A CySEC Officer attended a meeting with the director of Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), in which presented the latest developments regarding Sustainability Reporting. The Sustainability Reporting constitutes an organizational report that provides information on operations that companies/institutions promote on a financial, environmental and social level. Establishing the submission of Sustainability Reporting helps companies/institutions to set goals and measure their performance.
5th Corporate Social Responsibility Conference
On 29 June 2012, a CySEC Officer took part in the 5th Corporate Social Responsibility Conference titled “CSR as an Antidote to Crisis”, where she had the opportunity to attend case studies and experiences of successful managers and executives of the market on how CSR could be a vital tool in addressing financial recession, how an institution can exploit the crisis and treat it as an opportunity and what CSR operations can be exploited at low cost with positive results.
